Tennis

Basin Harbor features two Har-Tru tennis courts on the south side of the harbor and three All-Weather Plexipave courts on the north side. These courts are available all season long, though the Har-Tru courts may be closed if too wet. From mid-June to Labor Day, our tennis staff offers skilled instruction with lessons and clinics for all levels and ages. Pickleball is also available. Looking to rent a high performance tennis racket? Demo rackets may be checked out at the front desk or Tennis Shop. Racquet restringing services are also available.

ATTIRE
Proper attire and shoes are required: conservative clothing; tennis or tee shirts; no cutoffs.  
Shoes: Clay courts – soft soles, no treads; absolutely no running shoes
Shoes – Har Tru courts – no running shoes
No Street Shoes are permitted on any court

Note:
When the tennis shop is closed a very limited supply of loaner tennis rackets is available at the Front Desk for guests who wish to use courts in spring and fall, or when the pro shop is closed. Some used balls are also available.
