Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. We are glad that you are joining us to celebrate,even though the weather may not be what we hoped for a holiday weekend, there are still plenty of fun activities at beautiful Basin Harbor Club! Feel like you need to climb the walls? Petra Cliffs Climbing and Mountaineering Center is an indoor rock climbing gym in Burlington, Vermont. Spend the day rock climbing and get a good workout! For about $25 (or less if you have your own gear) you can get a belay lesson and go off and climb for as long as you want. See our Concierge for directions.

Join us at Lake Champlain’s Maritime Museum for our special exhibit, Lake Champlain Through the Lens: Juried Photography beginning today through October 15th from 2:00-4:00 pm. You can savor spectacular sunsets, glimpses of dawn and dusk, and other captivating views of the scenery, people, boats, and wildlife of the lake. The exhibition is included with museum admission.
