Basin Harbor is prepared for the unfortunate weather predictions regarding Hurricane Irene. We have taken all of the proper precautions to insure the safety of all of our guests and employees. At this time, the Vermont Farm Fresh Dinner has been canceled. All other scheduled events and activities will still go on as planned.
Expect there to be a lot of rain with heavy wind. The high will be near 65 degrees. By nightfall we should expect a low of 58 degrees with more heavy rain and a lot of wind. Chance of precipitation is at 100%.

Traveling from Alexandria, VA., we would like to welcome Ms. Norma Jean Noble arriving today. Happy Birthday to Skye Brady turning four today. She will be celebrating with the Whitney Birthday Party. Feel like you need to climb the walls? Petra Cliffs Climbing and Mountaineering Center is an indoor rock climbing gym in Burlington, Vermont. Spend the day rock climbing and get a good workout! For about $25 (or less if you have your own gear) you can get a belay lesson and go off and climb for as long as you want. See our Concierge for directions.
