It’s pretty cold here today but, hey! ’tis the season!  I visited my Dad in Naples, FL, earlier in the week – it was cold there, too, albeit warmer than Vermont.  As I got on the plane in New York, the pilot said, “This plane is going to BRRRRRlington.”  He was right!

It’s the weekend to buy a tree and begin to decorate the house.  I am reminded how much we save at Basin Harbor by not bring open in the winter and having to decorate everything for Christmas.  Let’s see, Christmas trees for every cottage, the Lodge, Homestead, Red Mill – you get the picture!  Of course, it would be very nice to see some of you over the holidays, but we’ll be thinking of you!

All my amaryllis are going to bloom at the same time – it’ll be so nice to see blooming things in these cold days.  I’ll try to figure out how to post a photo for you!  Pennie
