Winter’s here!

In addition to the eight or so inches of snow that arrived on Saturday, the 10th, Lake Champlain froze over during the night. We’ve had a bit of cold weather, and the “catch” date is the earliest for several years – at least since I’ve been making a note of it. No doubt we’ll be seeing people show up for ice fishing within a couple of days.

Other iteresting items of note include two deer taking in the view from the Greystone lawn, and a lonely – and large – wild turkey crossing the road from the sixth tee into the woods.
