Guest News
Basin Harbor welcomes back our returning guests on this lovely July day. Rob and Chris Strobel are here with Megan and Cailen from Brookside, NJ, and we are happy to have them! We welcome the lovely Buchanan Family today as they arrive from Mendham, NJ and Wellesley, MA to enjoy a reunion here at Basin Harbor. How wonderful to see you all!

Fishing News
The fish were biting down at the Harbor on Monday, and our young fishermen and fishergals did a fine job reeling them in! Tyler of Wyomissing, PA and Cal of Houston, TX each caught a perch, with Tyler’s being the Smallest Catch at 5 inches, and Cal’s being the Biggest Catch at 7 inches. Cal’s sister Mac from Houston, TX reeled in 3 fish, while Zoe from Whitefish Bay, WI and Niko from Los Angeles, CA each caught 4. The honor for Most Fish Caught belonged to Elliott from Burlington, VT, who reeled in 6 little swimmers during the tournament. Well done, anglers!

Tennis News
Basin Harbor had a packed house at the tennis courts yesterday! Betsy Cody of Arlington, VA teamed up with Mia Holman of Bryn Mawr, PA to claim the day’s title, becoming the first pair this summer to dethrone assistant pro Craig Kirchgessner. Nicely done, ladies!

Resort News
Ann-Marie will be capturing candid images today at all camps. A slideshow of this week’s candids will be running this evening in the Champlain Lounge. Our last Family Portrait Special is available tomorrow morning at the Wilderneath Garden. Please sign up with the concierge by this evening. Private Portrait Sessions are still available throughout the week.

Do you like to start your day with a serious workout in the fresh air? Look no further than the Basin Harbor grounds themselves to keep you in shape! Meet our fitness guru Scott at the Wellness Center at 7am tomorrow morning for Outdoor Interval Training, a fast-paced series of events that will take you all around BHC. If that’s not enough of a challenge, don’t hesitate to participate in Basin Harbor’s mini-Triathlon tomorrow afternoon, including a 200 yard swim across the Harbor followed by a 2.2 mile bike ride and a .8 mile run. Come join us as an individual or create a team with family and friends, and show your colors!

Hop aboard the EScape tomorrow morning and head down the shore a bit to Fish Button Bay. Our waterfront “jigging” expert Mac will show you how to catch those swimmers on the bottom with a special kind of fishing lure. Sign up with the concierge in advance.

BHC’s Got Talent! We know you have something special, so why not share it? Sign up with the Rec Staff and meet in the MDR for Talent Show Practice. Our pianist Melissa is ready to accompany you Friday night at the Talent Show.
