Guest News
We welcome our lovely roster of guests on this fine Tuesday! Robert & Cathryn Gilmour are here visiting from Peru, MA, while Richard Albrecht, John O’Brien, and Andy & Lauren Caverly join us from Bridgeport, CT for a family reunion. We hope you all have a fabulous time together! Basin Harbor Club would like to wish a special Happy Birthday to our guests Joshua and Kaleb Dadzie and the family of these twins, who are turning 3 years old today!

Fishing News
Basin Harbor congratulates Hailey Colicchio of Pompton Plains, NJ for participating in our Fishing Tournament, and taking away the title for “Biggest Fish”, a 14 inch bass! Nicely done, Hailey!

Bingo News
Congratulations to our lucky Bingo winners from Sunday night! The first Bingo game went to Kevin Feenan of Villa Park, CA, while Picture Frame resulted in a tie between Susan Schisler of Baltimore, MD and Ari Lear from Manhattan Beach, CA. Grace Manning of Purchase, NY stole away with the prize for Postage Stamp, and David Huber from Williston, VT took home the pot for High Stakes. Chatham, NJ produced two winners in the form of Connor Winans and Thomas Winter, for X Marks the Spot and Four Corners, respectively. The Stand Up Sit Down prize went to Liz O’Keefe from Ridgewood, NJ. Our final Blackout game and jackpot of $162 ended up being split down the middle for our double dose of winners, Jon Ovitt from Ashley Falls, MA and Mark Winter of Chatham, NJ. Nicely done! And to all the not-so-lucky participants, you’ll have another chance to try for that jackpot on Thursday!

Resort News
Ann-Marie will be capturing candid images at various events throughout the day and this evening at the Harbor Fair. Please feel free to say hello and let her know if you have any requests. Our Family Portrait Special will be available tonight at Harbor Fair and Thursday morning at the Wilderneath Garden.  Space is limited, so please sign up in advance with the concierge.

If you missed the early morning Boot Camp today, you still have another chance on Thursday! Sign up at the Treehouse Wellness Center and be ready to meet at 7am for a series of strength and conditioning exercises that will make breakfast taste all that much better! For something a little less intense, the Wellness Center also offers Gentle Yoga and Total Conditioning, all before lunch, so your afternoon can be free for other harbor activities!

While our weekly grid shows an extra EScape Cruise on Wednesday, we would like to clarify that this bonus trip aboard the EScape is actually going out on Thursday at 10:30am, in addition to the 2:30 cruise, and we will only have our normal 2:30pm cruise on Wednesday. We apologize for the confusion. See the concierge to sign up!

It’s Harbor Fair! Make your reservations for dinner tonight on the North Dock, complete with face painting, games, jumpy castle merriment, balloon animals, and a delicious buffet spread for the whole family. Sign up for the complimentary Cocktail Cruise ahead of time to enjoy an hour of cash bar service and beautiful views before the fair kicks off. Probability of a glorious sunset over the Adirondacks is high! Stick around for a campfire and s’mores at dusk.

Let’s face it: you and your family are having so much fun, you already can’t wait to come back to Basin Harbor next year! It’s never too early to start planning. Stop by the Reservation Table in the lobby tomorrow morning from 8 to 10am to book your reservations for Summer 2014. We can’t wait to have you back!

Tonight after dinner, step into the Club Room and behold the magic of Storytellers Jennings and Ponder. Tim and Leanne return this season for one of their award-winning presentations of traditional folk storytelling for adults and children, with Celtic music on harp and concertina. “Charming, witty and beguiling,” remarks Burlington’s Flynn Theater. Prepare to be amazed!
