What a Thursday night we had in the Bingo Hall! Kicking off Regular Bingo was winner Jack Brown from Long Island, NY, followed by New York City’s Sophia Craven and her Four Corners win. John Jakubik of Lake Forest, IL stole away with the pot for X Marks the Spot, and the Postage Stamp victory went to Carol Stevens from Lawrenceville, NJ. Picture Frame winnings belonged to Andrew Goldshel from Potomac, MD, and the pile of cash for High Stakes Bingo found its way into the pocket of Jack Brown from Long Island. Losers Bingo turned up a winner in the form of Owen Sideman from Rosling, NY. Our Blackout Finale resulted in a tie for the jackpot between Graham Soman of Wilmete, IL and Greg Jakubik from Lake Forest, IL, who walked off with $194 bones to each of their names. Congratulations, Bingo-ites! And to the less fortunate players, better luck next year!
Prepare your tastebuds! Basin Harbor has a myriad of culinary opportunities for your week ahead. Join BHC’s own Director of Finance (and Palate Enthusiast Extraordinaire) Joss Vandal at the Chef’s Tasting Wine Dinner this Monday night, as he takes you through a seven-course meal prepared by Executive Chef Rod Rehwinkel, including some very interesting and perhaps unexpected wine pairings. Also, pop in on guest Chef Tony for a cooking class (or all three!) this week as he shares tried-and-true Italian recipes on our lovely open-air North Dock kitchen. Not to be missed! Space is limited for all events, so sign up in advance with the concierge!
Thinking ahead to holidays and birthdays in the future, don’t forget that Basin Harbor merchandise makes for a most coveted gift! Be sure to check out all of the fabulous End-of-Summer Sales in the Harbor Store, Breezeway Gift Shop, and Golf shop.
