Today will cool down only ever so slightly with a high of 80 degrees, but the Harbor may experience increased humidity under mostly cloudy skies. A 50% chance of thundershower action is predicted for this afternoon.
Basin Harbor sends out a warm welcome to our returning guests coming in for the week! We’re delighted to see John Lapides and Melanie Ginter from North Haven, CT again, as well as Jane Maltby of Chatham, NJ along with Sam and Morgan. From West Hartford, CT we welcome Kelly Mazo, accompanied by Caroline and Sam. Good to see you again! We’re excited to see Edward & Michelle Howe of Coscob, CT this summer, with Connor and Riley in tow. Also with us are Michael & Pauline Higgins and the crew from Eastchester, NY. Jeff Schorer of Westport, CT joins us with Ms. Karlin Gray and Gabriel, and we’re so glad to see them again! From Port Corners, NY we welcome Mr. & Mrs. David Powers and wish them a lovely visit as they celebrate their Anniversary here at Basin Harbor Club. Glad to have you all with us!
The Badenhausen Family is here with us this week, visiting far and wide from Utah, New Jersey, Colorado, and Connecticut. We welcome you all back to the harbor, and hope you have a fabulous reunion!
Our Thursday night Bingo session put a few bucks into the pockets of our lucky winners. Gib Carey of Chicago, IL took home the first win for Regular Bingo, then went on to steal victories for both Picture Frame and High Stakes, the last game which he split in a tie with W. William Sabella of New York, NY. Mr. Sabella, in turn, went on to take home the jackpot Blackout prize of the evening, at a whopping $31. Emily Terry and Hannah Kates, both of New York, NY won the pot for Postage Stamp and X Marks the Spot, respectively, while Spencer Feinstein from Los Angeles, CA championed the Stand-Up Sit-Down Bingo game. Congratulations to all our Bingo winners!
Exciting news from across the lake! The nesting bald eagles on the Split Rock ledge welcome a brand new set of fledglings.
